FAQ

Mobile Detailing Questions, Answered

The questions we get asked most often about how mobile detailing works in Jacksonville.

Do you really come to my location?

Yes. Every appointment happens where your vehicle parks: a driveway, an apartment or condo lot, or a workplace parking space. We do not have a drop-off shop.

Do you need my water or electricity?

No. Our setup carries its own water and power, which is what makes apartment and office park appointments possible.

How long will the appointment take?

A maintenance wash is about an hour. A full interior and exterior detail is typically three to five hours. Paint correction and ceramic coating work runs one to two days.

What happens if it rains?

Short Florida showers usually pass and we work around them. If a storm sits over the area, we reschedule rather than rush the work.

Do I need to be home?

Not for the whole appointment. We need access to the vehicle, and keys if interior work is included.

How much does detailing cost?

It depends on vehicle size and condition, which is why we ask questions rather than quoting blind. Pet hair, heavy sand, odor treatment and paint correction are quoted separately.

Can you remove scratches?

Light scratches that do not catch a fingernail usually polish out. Anything deeper than the clear coat needs body shop work, and we will tell you which yours is.

How often should I have my car detailed in Jacksonville?

Most outdoor-parked vehicles benefit from two to three full details a year plus a wash every couple of weeks. Coastal vehicles need washing more often because of salt film.

Is ceramic coating worth it here?

For a vehicle parked outdoors in Florida sun, usually yes. It reduces UV damage, makes contamination easier to remove and cuts down on water spotting.

Will my apartment allow this?

Many communities do. Some restrict washing, in which case low-water methods and interior detailing are still options. Check with your leasing office first.

Do you work on trucks and large SUVs?

Yes. Larger vehicles take longer and are quoted accordingly, but there is no size restriction for normal passenger vehicles.

Do you service businesses and fleets?

Yes, including recurring schedules for small commercial fleets, with off-hours scheduling where needed.
