Exterior Detailing in Jacksonville, FL

Everything on the outside: paint, glass, wheels, tires and trim.

Exterior detailing is about removing what has built up on the paint and then leaving something behind to protect it. In Northeast Florida, that build-up arrives fast: road film from wet asphalt, bug splatter on the front clip, pollen in spring, and salt-laden air near the Intracoastal.

The finish is only as good as the prep, so most of the appointment is spent cleaning correctly rather than applying products.

Wash method

Wheels and tires are cleaned first with dedicated tools so brake dust is never carried onto paint. The body is then washed by hand with clean media and rinsed thoroughly, working panel by panel and keeping surfaces wet in the heat so water never dries on its own.

Decontamination and protection

If paint feels gritty after the wash, a clay treatment lifts bonded particles. Iron fallout from brake dust and rail dust is dissolved chemically. Once the surface is genuinely clean, a sealant or coating is applied so UV, rain and salt air have something to work against besides your clear coat.

Details that make the difference

Exhaust tips, door jambs, fuel doors, badge edges, window rubber and lower rocker panels are what separate an exterior detail from a wash. Tires are cleaned to a clean satin finish rather than a wet, sling-prone gloss.

What this includes

  • Hand wash with grit-safe technique
  • Wheels, tires and wheel wells cleaned individually
  • Bug, sap and iron removal where needed
  • Sealant or coating protection options
  • Exterior glass and trim finished by hand

Frequently asked questions

Do you use a pressure washer?

Yes, at controlled pressure for rinsing and wheel work. Contact washing is still done by hand.

Will an exterior detail remove swirl marks?

No. Swirls are paint defects and require machine polishing, which is a separate paint correction service.

How soon can I drive after protection is applied?

Sealants are ready almost immediately. Ceramic coatings need a longer cure window that we explain at booking.
