Wash and Wax in Jacksonville, FL

A hand wash plus a wax layer for gloss and seasonal protection.

Wash and wax is the classic maintenance combination: clean the paint properly, then leave a sacrificial layer on top of it. In Jacksonville, that layer is working against UV, rain, pollen and salt air from day one.

It is the right choice for someone who wants noticeably better gloss and protection without committing to a ceramic coating.

How long wax lasts here

A traditional carnauba wax may only last six to eight weeks on a car parked outdoors in Florida sun. Synthetic waxes and sealants last considerably longer, which is why we usually recommend them for this climate.

Application

Wax goes on clean, dry paint only. If the surface still feels rough after washing, a decontamination step is recommended first, otherwise the wax simply seals the contamination in place.

Visual result

Expect deeper color, better water behavior and easier cleaning on the next wash. Wax adds warmth and gloss but does not remove swirl marks.

What this includes

  • Full hand wash before wax application
  • Synthetic wax or sealant recommended for Florida sun
  • Improved gloss and water beading
  • Optional decontamination add-on
  • Great seasonal maintenance service

For Jacksonville sun, a synthetic sealant almost always outlasts a natural carnauba wax.

Slightly and temporarily. Actual removal requires machine polishing.

Every two to three months for outdoor-parked vehicles, less if the car stays in a garage.
